Details of important consumer looking conditions and operators responsibilities applicable to holiday arrangements included in our brochure are set out below. Tours described in this brochure may have changed since it was published. Also changes in airfares and other changes in exchange rates may affect the price of particular tours and services. Make sure you carefully study the booking conditions and responsibilities and ask your Travel Agent/ or Tailor Made Travel to check whether changes have occurred in the tour/ services you want before you book, after booking and when paying the balance.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:
PASSPORT AND VISA
Each person must carry a valid passport. Visas are the responsibility of the traveller, we urge you to check with all relevant consulates and/ or embassies prior to travel. Visas are required for some countries and we recommend these be obtained with your Travel Agents assistance.
We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase a travel insurance policy of your choice.

Route maps and photographic illustrations are for general purpose only and are not intended to indicate the exact rote, facility, service or hotel, which may vary. Travelling times are approximations only and may vary depending on schedules, actual routing‘s and types of transport.
PRE- DEPARTURE CONTACT
It is essential to ensure that your travel agent advises Tailor Made Travel of a telephone number where you can be reached 24 hours prior to departure.
Participating carries are at the discretion of Tailor Made Travel. No airline will incur responsibility or liability to any person named in the booking aside from that liability as may be incurred by the carrier.
Twin share accommodation is based on twin or double-bedded rooms, which is allocated by the hotel. It is normal hotel practise to supply triple accommodation on the basis of a twin or double bed plus a rollaway bed. Single room accommodation must be reserved by people travelling alone and is subject to the payment of the applicable supplement.
Whilst Tailor Made Travel make every effort to ensure accuracy in hotel information and descriptions, we are reliant on hotels giving us accurate details. Since hotels are constantly changing facilities and services, we cannot be liable for any errors or omissions herein. If any feature is of a critical importance to your holiday, it is the passenger's responsibility to ask Tailor Made Travel to check whether such features will be available at the time of occupancy at the given hotel.
Hotel accommodation is generally of a Tourist Class standard or better, and all rooms have private facilities.
CHANGE OF HOTELS
If during peak holiday periods we are unable to confirm the hotel specified you will be assigned a hotel of a similar standard.
Our local operator determines the daily activities of each tour, appoints the various guides and organises accommodation. The time spent in each city is naturally dependent on your time of arrival and departure. Our local operators make reservations for internal travel. If delays, alterations, weather or technical problems occur, this may result in less time being spent at your next destination and rail travel being substituted.
DEPOSIT AND BALANCE
A deposit of $250.00 per person is payable to your travel agent in order to secure a booking. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if travel is not undertaken. Full payment of balance due is payable 60 days before departure, or at the time of confirmation if inside 60 days.
Where a client requests a change of hotel, departure, type of room, or tour, an amendment fee of $50.00 will apply.
EXTENSIONS AND AMENDMENTS
Extension and amendments are not possible after the holiday has commenced.
Cancellation fees imposed by the airlines will be subject to airline Tariff Regulations.
Tailor Made Travel (herein called the Operator) act only as an agent for the hotels, airlines, bus companies, rail roads, cruise lines or owners of contractors providing accommodation, transportation or other services and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets the purchaser agrees to the foregoing and also agrees that neither the Operator, subsidiary or affiliate company shall be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from Acts of God, dangers, incident to the air, sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, delays, or cancellations of or changes in itinerary or schedules or from any caused beyond the Operators control, or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visa or other documents, and that neither the Operator nor any parent, subsidiary or affiliate company shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expense or liability sustained or incurred by the purchaser as a result of any of the foregoing causes.
The operator does not accept any liability for failure on the part of the transportation companies whose responsibility is confined to his or her own operations. The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel all or any of the arrangements contained in the itineraries. The Operator, or its Associate/s whilst taking every care with the passenger's luggage or property, shall not accept any liability for damage, loss or inconvenience in the handing thereof . The transportation companies or from shall be exempt of any liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury, however or whomsoever caused and what ever kind occurring, of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyance used and operated by the transport companies or firms. The passage contracts in use by the transport companies or firms concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the transport companies or firms and the purchaser of these tours and/or passengers.
All maters arising between the Operator and the passenger are subject to the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. The service of any IATA or non-IATA carrier may be used.
Airlines do not by virtue of their endorsement of a brochure represent themselves either as contracting with any purchaser of a holiday from Tailor Made Travel or as having any legal relationship with any such purchaser.
Should the unlikely situation arise where you have a complaint about any aspect of your tour, the complaint should be directed to our ground operator, or the management of the hotel, ship or supplier whose services are involved, so that the complaint can be rectified. If it cannot be resolved then all correspondence will only be considered in writing with supporting documentation from your Travel Agent within 10 days of your return to Australia.
